BARKSHIRE BANDITS

Flyball is a fun sport for any dog of any size! The only criteria for a good Flyball Dog is a love of tennis balls - and a fit and healthy dog. Most dogs who compete are collies as they are a highly obsessive breed, but any dog can learn and enjoy the sport.

Flyball is a relay race for 4 dogs, although a team can consist of up to 6 dogs giving 2 reserve dogs. The dogs race another team in another lane, racing over four jumps, triggering a box to retrieve a tennis ball and then returning to the owner with the ball. The winning team is the first team to get all 4 dogs back without any faults! It is fast, fun and exciting - both dogs and humans love it!

Flyball is one of the fastest growing dog sports in the country, and is a growing worldwide sport with European Championships taking place on an annual basis.

The Barkshire Bandits Flyball Teams were formed in 1996 and have since climbed the ladder of success.

We compete in competitions all over the South, and currently have several teams racing in British Flyball Association competitions
